Hi there! I’m Alicia, founder and CEO of On Stage Media Australia. If there’s one thing you should know about me—it’s that theatre is in my blood. I started performing at the age of 2, and for as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around dance, drama, and the magic of the stage.

From my childhood in dance studios to competitions and amateur theatre, my journey has always been about connecting with the arts. After school, I followed my passion into teaching dance, musical theatre, and—my personal favourite—singing. Becoming a mum didn’t slow me down; instead, it gave me a front-row seat to my kids’ performances, cheering them on as they found their voices on stage.

In 2015, I saw a gap in the market for reliable, affordable media services for dance competitions and theatrical performances. That’s when On Stage Media was born. Today, we’re proud to offer a full range of professional photography, videography, music management, and video critiques, all designed to support young performers and the people who inspire them.

While I continue to teach at local studios in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, On Stage Media has truly become my greatest passion. As a mum of four, I know how important it is to nurture not just talent, but confidence. Dance competitions are about much more than placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. They’re about self-discovery, creative expression, and fostering a sense of achievement that lasts long after the curtain falls.

Now, 10 years after we first started, our team travels Australia, capturing unforgettable moments for young performers and providing invaluable feedback to help them grow. From humble beginnings offering affordable videography at local competitions, On Stage Media has evolved into one of the leading dance competition photography providers in Australia.

In 2023, we took another exciting step forward by partnering with Stage School Australia, giving parents the chance to preserve lasting memories of their children’s seasonal performances. This has allowed me to expand our work within the musical theatre industry—where my true passion lies.
