CHILD SAFE POLICIES

Child Safe Policy
On Stage Media Australia

On Stage Media Australia is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and child-safe environment at all events we attend. The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a priority in all areas of our work.

Our Commitment
We support the rights of children and young people to feel safe and respected. We have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse, neglect, or any behaviour that places a child at risk.

All staff working with On Stage Media Australia are required to follow child-safe practices at all times.

Staff and Screening
All staff hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
WWCC requirements align with current Safe Dance policies across Australia.
Staff are trained and approved before working onsite.

Photography and Videography
Photography and videography take place only during organised performances or events.
Media is captured for the purpose of parent access and purchase.
Staff do not take personal photos or videos of children.
Images and footage are stored and handled securely.
No content is used publicly without appropriate permissions.

Supervision
Children remain under the supervision of parents, guardians, teachers, or event organisers at all times. On Stage Media Australia staff do not supervise or manage children.

Professional Conduct
Our staff are expected to act professionally and respectfully at all times, remain unobtrusive during performances, follow venue and event rules, and maintain appropriate boundaries when working around children.
